TASER® International, Inc. Announces the Resignation of Karl Walters
SCOTTSDALE, AZ., May 24, 2002 –TASER International, Inc. (Nasdaq: TASR, TASRW), a
provider of advanced less-lethal weapons for use in the law enforcement, private security and
personal defense markets, announced today that Karl Walter has resigned from his position as
Executive Vice President of Sales and as a Director of the company effective immediately.
“Mr. Walters has resigned to pursue personal interests”, stated Rick Smith Chief Executive of
TASER International, Inc. “We appreciate the contributions that Karl has made during his tenure
at the company and we wish him well in his future endeavors” said Mr. Smith,” we remain
committed to our existing sales and distribution strategy, which has proven successful over the
past two years.”
