according to the LAPD, Officer Jerold Chase from LAPD Mission Division tried to pull Salinas off the employee, Salinas “got Chase's baton out
of its ring and hit him with it, striking the officer's head,” and Chase fired his weapon, killing Salinas.

suspects in handcuffs, that Ball ran away and was chased by Det. Eric Armstrong, that Ball got underneath a car, that Armstrong got down on
the ground, reached in, and began pulling him out, that Ball then pulled out a gun (from under the car), and Armstrong shot him.”

determined that Zerby was actually holding a black pistol-grip water nozzle with a metal tip. Zerby was shot in the torso with a shotgun and

Officers claim they pulled Obrego over in hiss car because he was “driving erratically.” Obrego stopped in front of his residence and
according to the LAPD “a physical altercation ensued” between Obrego and two officers. Obrego was taken to the hospital where he died
approximately 12 hours later. According to the LAPD, “As a result of that altercation … the suspect had a laceration and that’s one of the
reasons officers called the ambulance.” According to several civilian witnesses, Obrego was badly beaten for at least ten minutes, and was
bleeding.

Ford was walking on the street when gang officers on patrol told him to take his hands out of his pockets. Ford was known in community and
to police as someone who was mentally ill. (He was diagnosed with depression, bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia.) LAPD Chief Beck has
declined to comment citing ongoing investigation. According to several witnesses we talked to, police ordered then pushed Ford to the
ground, then shot him at least three times in the back. One witness claims they shot him first while Ford was standing, then shot him again on
the ground. Some witnesses state that some of the gunshots were fired into Ford after he was handcuffed.
