NOTICE TO INMATES

Effective December 17, 2009 inmate telephones will be able to
make collect calls to cell phone numbers. Family and friends will
need to contact Global Tel*Link (GTL) to set up a direct bill
account so that GTL could bill them for the collect calls.
There is specific action family and friends will have to take to
receive collect calls on their cell phone. The first step is to contact
GTL Customer Service at 1-888-415-0377 to set up a direct bill
account for the cell phone number. All required action and
restrictions are included in a separate GTL Notice to Family and
Friends that has been issued and posted on the CDCR web-site at:
http://www.cdcr.ca.gov/Visitors/Receiving_Calls_From_Inmates_and_Wards.html
